SMART TACHO 2 IS COMING!
Smart Tachograph Version 2 units must be fitted to new vehicles first registered since August 2023 and retrofitted to vehicles operating internationally from the following dates:

Vehicles with date of registration prior to 14th June 2019 who are equipped with an analogue non-smart tachograph the deadline is: 31st December 2024.

Vehicles with a date of first registration between 15th June 2019 and 20th August 2023 who are equipped with a Smart Tachograph Version 1 Unit the deadline is: 18th August 2025.
